South East Asia : Malaysia

The CYM partners with David and Jennifer Parks for the purpose of training youth leaders for Malaysia as well as other Southeast Asian countries. 65 students are now taking youth ministry courses through the CYM at the Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary in Pinang. There are 11 full-time youth majors enrolled for the 2008-2009 school year with 5 of these being new students.

This past spring the CYM graduated three youth majors, two with a masters and one with a bachelors. Two of these graduates plan on spearheading a new CYM for Nepal in 2009.

New extension classes will also start in the capitol, Kuala Lumpur in 2009.
