Latin America: Mexico City

The average age in Mexico City, over 20 million in population, is 14 years old! Dennis and Janell Poulette, YMI missionaries to Latin America, are partnering with the CYM to train youth directors for Mexico and two other Latin American countries.

The students are being trained through the CYM youth major at the Mexico Baptist Theological Seminary there in Mexico City. There are 11 full time youth majors enrolled at the present. One student graduated in the spring of 2008 and is now helping Dennis Poulette teach classes. A graduating youth couple plan on starting a CYM center in Quito, Ecuador in the near future.
